Rosalind F. Fedeli Obituary

Rosalind (Roz) Fedeli, of York, Maine, died peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2024.  She was an artist, painting and making assemblages throughout her entire adult life.  Roz's gallery/studio is situated in the heart of York Village.  River Current Art Gallery is in a ca.1760 building that had been moved from the Isle of Shoals.  Roz operated that business in the front and lived a custom residence in the back.  She welcomed passersby daily and was delighted to converse and show her creations.  Roz was at the "top of her game" just before she passed at the age of 84.

Roz was born in Brockton, MA in 1939, to Frank and Ruth White, who were both landscape architects. Roz raised her four children in Shrewsbury, MA and then lived in Worcester, MA and Cape Neddick, ME with her husband, the late Frederick Fedeli.  Roz’s passions, other than art, included gardening, travel and blues music.  She loved parties and get togethers with friends and family.

She shared many happy years with William Kelly, her beloved long time companion. They had lots of fun in the great outdoors - camping, biking, sailing, traveling and sitting on their front porch at the corner of Linsday Road next to the entrance to Steadman Woods. She will be remembered or her effervescent personality, her laughter, her engaging smile, her cool sense of style and her uplifting spirit.

Roz is survived by her oldest son, Peter Duprey, his son Samuel, daughter Jeanne Pandiani, her husband Alan and their children Alan and Ava, grandchildren Alyssa and Kassidy (daughters of son Alan who died in 2019) and daughter Linda Briggs and her husband Kevin Longe and her two children Morgan and Mia.  She also leaves a brother, Alan White of Falmouth, MA.  Another brother, Perry White, passed away last year.
