Rosemarie "Rosie" (Staples) Avery

North Berwick, Maine-Rosemarie "Rosie" Avery, 76, formerly of York, Maine passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2022.

She was born March 23, 1946 in North Berwick, Maine a daughter of the late Raymond and Esther (Verge) Staples.

She had worked for the York Senior Center and later for the York Town Hall for many years before retiring.

She leaves a son Wayne D. Avery II and his wife Amy MacLauchlan; a granddaughter Cheyenne Avery; 4 brothers Wayne Staples, Raymond Staples, Ronald Staples and Richard Staples; 2 sisters Debra Wilson and Linda Bray.

Her husband Wayne D. Avery, a daughter Barbara Myrick, a brother Mike Staples and a sister Beverly Randall all predeceased her.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Monday, October 3rd in the First Parish Cemetery, York, Maine.
