Sharon A. Geraci Obituary

Sharon A. Geraci passed away peacefully, with her daughter by her side, on October 2, 2021 at the age of 61. She was born on October 1, 1960 in Portsmouth, NH, the only daughter of Sam and Lennie Geraci. She graduated from Portsmouth HS in 1979, then married Richard Webber and had two children. Sharon later obtained her LADC and counseled those who struggled with addictions for 35 years.

She attended Eliot Baptist Church for many years and considered the people there family.     Sharon found her great joy in giving to others, especially her family, her patients, and dear friends. She had the gift of encouragement, sending cards and mailing meaningful small packages demonstrated this to so many. The death of her father and role model when she was just 12 years old inspired Sharon to become a compassionate counselor, whose skill went beyond words to kindness and practical help. Christmastime meant Samaritan Purse shoeboxes for needy children, and she sponsored a child overseas.

Some of Sharon’s other loves included Diet Pepsi; cooking Italian food; a good movie or series on DVD, trips to Italy with Gil and to Florida with Cathy; walking on the beach with Billy and her grandsons, collecting sand dollars and hearing, "Nona said so!"; talking for hours to Ruann, all types of music, often using music therapy in her work and attending Christian festivals like Soul Fest. She was always quick to use humor to make people laugh.     Most of all, Sharon would want others to know of her absolute faith in and love for her Lord Jesus. Sharing what that meant to her with others  brought her purpose and peace.

Sharon is survived by her daughter, Alicia Webber, and three grandsons, Jacob and Alexander Wilcox and Gabriel Webber, along with her niece, Jessica Geraci, Mike Conway (Kathy), Ruann Marshall (David), and her many brother and sisters in Christ at EBC. She was predeceased by her son, Aaron Webber, brothers, Stephen Geraci and Mike Fuller, and fiancé, William “Billy” Caswell.
