Terry E. McFarland

Terry E. McFarland of York passed away at home on March 26, 2026. He was born in Punxsutawney, PA to Edgar and Mary-Jayne McFarland.

He is survived by Sharon (his wife of 55 years); 2 brothers: Thomas & wife Barbara and Theodore both of PA, 3 sons: Scott & wife Carrie, Brett & wife Carrie and Ryan & wife Rebecca; as well as 8 grandchildren.

Terry served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era. He graduated from Northeastern University and raised his family in MA.

Terry and Sharon moved to Maine in 1999 and retired here.

In his lifetime, Terry worked for Mitre Corporation in Bedford, MA,  owned his own lawn service, and completed his working years at Sentry Hill in York.

Terry will be remembered for loving his wife & family, the ocean, his country & NASCAR.

His family will miss him dearly & will cherish their memories with him & the lessons he shared. 

Terry will be buried at the Southern Maine Veterans Cemetery in Springvale.

Arrangements are entrusted to the Lucas Eaton Funeral Home in York.
