Wayne C. Trafton

Wayne Carroll Trafton, 83, of Kingston, NH , died peacefully with his family by his side, on December 9th 2021.

Wayne was born on December 12, 1937 to Carroll and Elizabeth (Osgood) Trafton in York, ME.

He spent his childhood on Chases Pond with his five brothers and sisters, Norman, Burke, Marilyn, Eppie and Garry. After graduating York High School, he served in the U.S. Navy for two years.

He spent several years at GH Harnum Construction as a foreman, where he made a lasting impression.

He leaves behind his children Tamara (Michael) Milliard, Carole (Malcolm) Andrews, Scott Trafton and Jayme (Scott) Reimels, 2 stepchildren Karrie (Chris) Eaton and Mark (Kim) Nason.

16 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Wayne loved time spent with his family, New England sports, cookouts, work and landscaping.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Sandra (Forbes) and his second wife Regina (Nason), and his sister Marilyn Small.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, Dec. 15th from 6-8 pm at Lucas & Eaton Funeral Home, 91 Long Sands Rd., in York, ME.

Funeral on Thursday, Dec. 16th at 11am in the First Parish Congregational Church, 180 York St., York, ME. Interment will follow in the First Parish Cemetery.
