Dear Family of "Val",
I had the pleasure of caring for,working with and getting to know Val for the past 10 years @ the Heart Health/Living Well CTR in York. Val and I found many common interests, horses,farms, childreen that play LAX . We laughed as he worked out trying to teach me to correct my"french" ..Val was greatly respected by the staff @ the LWC…He was a bright light …often times Mrs. Bernard would come and sit in the lobby while Val exercised …they were so close. Val always spoke of his family..I remember once when his grand daughter came to take pictures of him working out!!!
I feel very fortunate to have spent time with him over this past winter when he was @ YH…I will save that "special can" from his maple syrup….and think of him always. May happy and warm memories help with your loss. Val will be greatly missed by all he touched. My thoughts,prayers and tears are with you for your loss.

Val was one of finest men that I have known. He was hard working , kind , caring and a man of deep faith. He will be missed by many. You now have a powerful intersessor in heaven. Deacon Don Battiston
